French Revolution?

I can explain the question better: the goal of the French Revolution (to replace the existing monarchy with a republic) was not met by the revolution. Since there was not a structure in place when the revolution lost its force, Napoleon walked in as dictator (in the absence of a leader and lack of a government, it was easy for a dictatorship to be created). So what you need to do is identify what the goals of the revolution were, what the new government was meant to be, why it did not happen, and why the country was ripe for a dictator to come in and take over (probably because of all the chaos).
