Hi..my computer is giving me problem?

hi..last time when i press the fn on with up i can increase the volume and the image will appear me increasing in my laptop screen..but now i cant see the image anymore but i can still increase my volume..how do i make the images reappear and my fingerprint identification is also missing but it is installed...how?please help..
