How to keep the writing on GUITAR PICKS?!?

i have a signed guitar pick by Duff Mckagen, and on the front it says Velvet Revolver (the band), anyway, I want to wear it as a necklace, but this brand of pick (tortex) the writing normally comes off, is there something i can use to make it stay on? i was thinking clear nail polish...any suggestions?!?! thanksss.
