It's long & not lgbt (Sorry!) but u guys are smarter?
You're searching for the answer on the internet when you already have it. What you've just told us is exactly what you need to tell him. I understand that confronting people is hard, in fact, it sucks. But you just need to tell him up front. Try and get him alone so you aren't calling him out in public (telling people in public makes them defensive) and say something along the lines of "We need to talk..." continue on and tell him your frustrations. Try and not sound like you are accusing him of anything, and hearken back to his old, sweet, self a lot. He'll either listen to you, or he wont. If he does, that's good, he'll start changing. If he doesn't, you guys need to not put up with it, and don't hang out with him if he's going to act like a little jock. That may let him get the point. It sounds like you guys are in high school. In high school, boys get very emotional and a tad arrogant. Don't let it get to you if he doesn't change. He will in time. Hormones don't last long.
