Who here has a Police Officer for a Parent?

My dad was a cop and SWAT captain. I could never be ashamed of my dad. Some people used to make comments like 'oh I better watch out your dad is a cop' or rag on cops when I was around. I don't let it get to me too much. People are allowed their perceptions. I would've just said to that lady "what's there to be ashamed of? That he's dedicated his life to public service without regard to his own safety?"
